Two things are happening: we are all increasingly using online, cloud, IT technologies in everyday life (especially financially), and there is a corresponding rise in cyber-crime (phishing scams / data breaches / etc).
To counteract this, Transact has introduced a 2FA (Two Factor Authentication) system for logging in to your account and/or making transactions. This extra layer of protection works by combining something you know (like a password) with another factor, such as something you have (a code from your phone) or something inherent (like a fingerprint or face scan). This second layer of security helps prevent unauthorized access, even if your password is compromised.
